Three residents play most black label radio nights, and their recorded sets are what the radio side of this is built on. Each one's mixes are on the home page player.

DJ and producer. Peak time, techno, tech house, melodic, industrial, progressive, house. Providence, RI.
Techno is the spine of it, but not the whole of it. Across a black label radio night you will hear hardgroove, hypnotic, peak time and industrial techno; house, tech house, melodic and progressive; breaks, breakbeats and electro; bass and trap; percussive club tracks, ghettotech, juke and footwork; and dembow — often several of them inside the same set. The rooms are small, the system is loud, and the focus is the floor rather than a stage.
If you are looking for EDM in Providence, a rave in Rhode Island, or a dance party that runs late, this is the corner of that world we work in: electronic dance music on a proper system, in a small room, with the dancefloor as the point rather than a stage and a headliner.
We also run shows and supply sound alongside other promoters in the region, most often AFTER.PVD, and our residents play elsewhere in New England through the year.
The light is part of the booking rather than an afterthought. black label radio nights run lasers and projection alongside the sound — laser fans over the floor, haze, and video thrown across the room or the tent — cued to move with the music instead of looping behind it.
Some of it is ours. ryzl VJs as well as DJs, running audio-reactive visuals built in TouchDesigner and fed live off the mixer, so what is on the wall is answering what is coming out of the system rather than running to its own clock. The rest comes from the visual artists we work with, who bring their own rigs and their own eye to a night: Nocturnal Purple, Finbar White, Heidi Heic and Charles Matadin.
If you are putting on a night and want the visual side covered as well as the sound, ask when you get in touch — between our own rig and the artists we work with, it is usually possible.
The same PA and DJ rigs these nights are thrown on are available to rent. Full HSD and QSC sound systems, subwoofers, monitors and Pioneer DJ equipment, across Providence, Rhode Island and New England — with delivery, setup and a live sound engineer if you want one. Details and pricing are on the sound equipment rental page.

Not in the mainstage sense. black label radio is underground techno and club music — hardgroove, breaks, electro, ghettotech, juke, footwork and house rather than festival EDM. If you found this searching for EDM in Providence, the shows are a smaller room, a louder system and a dancefloor rather than a stage.

Techno first — hardgroove, hypnotic, peak time and industrial — then house, tech house, melodic and progressive; breaks, breakbeats and electro; bass and trap; percussive club tracks, ghettotech, juke and footwork; and dembow. Which of them you get depends on who is playing: ryzl leans techno, bass, club, breaks and electro; br1bytes leans club, breakbeats, ghettotech, juke, footwork and dembow; Max Lagardi leans peak time techno, tech house, melodic, industrial and progressive.
House runs through most black label radio nights — house, tech house, melodic and progressive from Max Lagardi, and house alongside techno, breaks and electro from ryzl. A night is rarely house the whole way through; it sits in the set next to techno and club music rather than standing on its own.
