PA Systems · DJ Gear · Live Sound Engineering · Videography Add-on
black label radio rents professional sound equipment across Providence and all of Rhode Island. Full HSD and QSC PA systems, subwoofers, monitors and Pioneer DJ equipment — for club nights, warehouse parties, outdoor raves, festivals and private events. Delivery, setup and a live sound engineer are available with any rental, and event videography can be added to any booking.
We're a working dance music collective, not a warehouse with a counter. The same rigs we rent are the ones we run at our own events, so the gear is maintained, tested and specced by people who mix on it every week.
Large-format PA for club nights, warehouse parties and outdoor raves. Tops, subs and stands, scaled to the room.
Portable QSC setups for smaller rooms, bars, pop-ups and private parties. Fast to deploy, easy on tight load-ins.
Low-end reinforcement to add weight to any system — essential for techno, bass and dance events.
Industry-standard CDJ players, the setup most DJs expect to walk up to.
Club mixers to pair with the CDJs, including the channel count your line-up needs.
All-in-one Pioneer units for compact booths and smaller events where a full CDJ setup won't fit.
Equipment on its own is only half of it. You can hire a live sound engineer alongside any rental: system setup, tuning for the room, soundcheck with your artists, and live mixing handled start to finish. Useful if you're running a night at an unfamiliar venue, or if you'd rather focus on the event than on the desk.
Sound comes first, but the same crew can film your night too. We shoot on a Sony FX3A full-frame cinema camera, and you can have it two ways.
We film your event — the DJs, the crowd, the room — and cut recap and promo edits for socials. Shot by people who know how a dance floor should look on camera.
Rent the FX3A for a music video, a set recording or your own shoot. Ask about availability and what’s in the kit when you enquire.
Based out of Providence, Rhode Island, with delivery and service to all of New England — Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. Local jobs around Providence, Pawtucket, Cranston, Warwick, Newport and East Providence are our bread and butter, but we travel: tell us where the room is and we'll get the rig there.
Tell us the date, the room and the headcount and we’ll spec the rig (or the shoot) — here, or by email to booking@black-label-radio.com.

Cost depends on the size of the system, how long you need it, and whether you want an engineer on site. A small portable QSC setup for a private party costs considerably less than a full HSD rig for an outdoor rave. Send us the details and we'll quote it.

Yes. Pioneer CDJs, mixers and all-in-one units can be hired on their own if the venue already has a system, or bundled with a PA if it doesn't.
Anything from a private party or small bar in a single room up to a full club night, warehouse party or outdoor rave. The rig is scaled to the room — tell us the space and expected headcount and we'll spec it.

Sooner is better, especially for weekends and festival season. If your date is close, still ask — we can often cover short notice.
